First phase of construction to expand the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics to start in fall
Basic neuroscience research has become increasingly diverse in recent decades. For this reason, two extension buildings for the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics will be constructed by the end of 2029. They will be built on land in the northwestern part of the Tübingen research campus.
The construction project will be divided into several phases. Construction of an additional institute building and a high-hygiene laboratory is scheduled to begin in October 2025, with completion planned for the end of 2029.
